SUMMER SEASONAL POSITIONS IN THE HEART OF THE CANADIAN ROCKIES!!
Jasper Tramway hosts thousands of visitors each summer to enjoy the spectacular views from the top of Whistler’s Mountain in Jasper Alberta. Jasper Tramway is Canada’s longest and highest aerial tramway tour located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Discover views unsurpassed anywhere in the Canadian Rockies with 5 major mountain ranges, 2 river systems, glacier blue lakes and the snow capped peak of Mt. Robson, the highest in the Canadian Rockies! Explore unlimited backcountry terrain in the high alpine or simply stroll along the interpretive boardwalks surrounding the upper station and then relax in the Treeline Restaurant located at 7500 ft. above sea level. Jasper Tramway offers a lifetime experience the whole family can enjoy!
Positions available for
the 2010 season include:
Retail / Guest Services (Cashiers/Ticket Sales and Guest Relations): Previous cash handling experience is required to assist guests with the sale of lift tickets and retail items. There is an opportunity to rotate between the Upper Station and Lower Station locations. Experience in dealing with the public in a busy environment is an asset.
Treeline Restaurant (Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Food Runners/Bussers): The Treeline Restaurant is a fully licensed restaurant that serves as a cozy retreat to enjoy the stunning views in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Treeline Restaurant operates as an “alpine café” where guests are able to help themselves to a variety of “on the go” items or relax with a meal from the grill . The restaurant is 7,500 ft. above sea level and accessed only by the Tramway, offering a true dining experience!
Tramway Guides/Operators: The Tram Guide is a unique position which requires an upbeat individual who is comfortable dealing with and speaking directly to groups of people. This position rotates between working as an Aerial Sightseeing Guide and a Tramway Control Operator. On the job training is provided for these unique positions.
Ground Crew: The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions is essential. A variety of duties including landscaping, light maintenance and housekeeping duties. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.
Accommodation is provided in the Jasper town site for all full time seasonal positions at $11.00/day. Free staff shuttles to and from the mountain is provided.
Job Status: Season opening for 2010 is scheduled for late April. The last day of operation for public will occur on October 11th (Thanksgiving Weekend). Positions are available starting in March and seasonal positions for

Salary Info:Wages start at $11.00/hr + additional bonuses.
